Back in Action After 3 Years of Pain
"I was involved in an auto accident almost three years ago in which I was rear ended.
I was taken to the emergency room in which they did an examination, took x-rays and an MRI which showed that I suffered from a herniated disc in my neck as well as my low back. The hospital recommended that I see an orthopedic surgeon who recommended surgery. I stated that I would prefer another method and he recommended some physical therapy, pain medication, anti inflammatory medication and muscle relaxants."
"The medications just took the edge off my pain, but left me fatigued. The physical therapy helped only slightly. Then a friend of mine recommended Dr. Cima and I made an appointment. Dr. Cima had a different approach to my injuries and explained how we could treat my herniated disc condition without surgery. All I can say is that I did not go for the surgery, I am pain free and I play golf and tennis 2-3 times per week."
